
Getting the buyers attention "OFFLINE"
Most of our offline marketing initiatives are oriented towards getting the potential buyers to do one or both of the following things: 1.) To go to your/our websites where they can see a much better description of the property. It's simply impossible to provide all of the information about your home through offline marketing. 2.) Call us to view your property!

Newsprint
GOAL: The newsprint ads need to be short, to the point and attention grabbing. Because of the limited space within the newsprint ads not a lot of information can be put in. So, the goal of the newsprint ads is to draw people in so that will go to the internet for additional details and information and then finally for them to call and view your property.
***Part of the customized marketing plan that we create will include identifying if newsprint will be benificial to market your home, and if so which news print sources will be the most helpful.***

- Just Listed Cards
GOAL: The goal of the "just listed" cards should be to create actiivty for your home by letting people know that your home is for sale. But here's the cardinal flaw in this advertising medium -Most just listed cards get sent to your neighbors. Does that make sense to you? Don't most of your neighbors already live in similar homes? Don't they already have the same basic location as you? So why market to them!
SOLUTION: "Just Listed" cards can be effective if they go to the right people. One of the things we will do BEFORE advertising your home is to identify what neighborhoods most likely contain the buyer for your home. If you live in a new neighborhood, perhaps the best source of buyers is the adjoining 20 year old neighborhood...

- Lawn Signs
GOAL: To get the attention of those people who like to "drive neighborhoods" to find houses for sale. We want to attract their attention, get them to call us, and sell them the house. But here's the problem with these types of buyers; they're among the least likely to buy your home. It's true! That's why they aren't working with a Realtor. Plus, we know nothing about their motivation to purchase, financial qualifications, or additional details. By allowing them to go to the website, we can eliminate the "window shoppers" and concentrate on those "drive-by buyers" who are really interested in your home.
SOLUTION: Attached to your "for sale" sign will be an additional sign that will show off your website, allowing these buyers to see the relevant details of your home before calling us to show your home. This additional sign will really stand out, being white text on a black background... the BoldHomes.ca style!

- Open Houses
GOAL: There are varying opinions on the value of open houses. Some owners like them, some don't. The reason some don't is usually because complete strangers get to wandering through your house... often unsupervised. But it can be a great way to get people through the house all at once, reducing the need for as many showings.
SOLUTION: We believe that the "trick" to a good open house is properly advertising the event. A combination of online and offline of the promotion is essential to creating traffic for the open house. Combined with this advertising, we also believe in marketing the event to any buyers (or their Realtors) that we know may have an interest in the property.
The decision to have, or not to have, an open house is a very personal one. Because the motivation against the events has to do with your personal security beliefs, we will never impose an open house on any of our clients. We will offer to have open houses; but never force the issue. Should you decide that you want us to host an open house, please be aware that we will never allow anyone into the property who refuses to sign the guest registry. That's important for your security, as well as our own.
